Course Overview
Emphasis in this course is placed on teaching and learning, with particular focus on adult learning contexts. Course topics include effective instruction, adult learning and motivation, instructional methods, lesson planning, assessment and evaluation, course outlines, and classroom management. Students must have completed or receive credit for this course prior to registering for any other courses within the Certificate in Adult Education or Vocational Industrial Arts Teacher Education part-time programs. Registration for this course is considered application to the CAE Program.
