Certificate in Adult Education
The Certificate in Adult Education (CAE) program is a 10 – course (plus practicum), 33 credit-hour program designed to develop skills in teaching adults in an applied or technical-vocational college setting. The program supports the notion that a successful college education depends on the competence of the institution’s faculty. Subject area expertise and the ability to apply adult education theory and instructional methodologies enhance the effectiveness of college and adult educators and thus the experience and success of adult learners.
Upon successful completion of the CAE, two parchments are awarded:
- A Certificate in Adult Education from Red River College, and
- A Certificate of Acknowledgement from the Minister of Advanced Education and Literacy.
